Global Good News Daily exists because real, good things happen in the world every single day, and most of them never make the headlines. We find those stories, check them against original sources, and tell them properly.
Why we started this
Most news is written to grab attention, and attention responds fastest to fear and outrage. That's not a conspiracy, it's just how the incentives work, and it means that real progress, real kindness, and real fixes to real problems quietly go unreported. Global Good News Daily was started to correct that balance a little: not by inventing anything, and not by softening hard truths, but by putting the same effort into finding and verifying good news that most outlets put into chasing crisis, conflict, and controversy.

Who's behind it
GGND is a small team, not a newsroom. Lizzy, a professional journalist, leads the reporting and verification on every story we publish. That's a deliberate choice: it keeps every story accountable to real people who read it start to finish before it goes out, not an algorithm or a wire feed. It also means we grow slowly and honestly, one verified story at a time, funded mostly by readers who decide it's worth supporting.
