Amazon Web Services has launched AWS Student Rewards, a program that gives verified higher-education students access to a year of premium AWS Skill Builder training.
The package includes more than 900 courses, hands-on labs, certification preparation, and game-based learning. Students must be at least 18, enrolled in an accredited institution, and verify their student status through SheerID.
Students can also earn badges through activities in the AWS Builder Center. Seven badges can unlock $10 in AWS credits, 14 badges can unlock another $20, and 21 badges can unlock a $100 foundational certification exam voucher.
The program is available worldwide, but the extra credits and voucher require continued participation in the Builder Center community. Inquirer.net reported the program on Sept. 23.
