The Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 271st aid convoy toward Gaza on September 16, carrying 3,490 tons of humanitarian assistance, Ahram Online reported.
The shipment included more than 800 tons of food parcels and flour, 1,396 tons of medicines and other relief supplies, and 1,293 tons of fuel for hospitals and vital facilities.
Red Crescent teams have kept working at the Rafah crossing to provide relief and assistance to Palestinians. The organization says about 75,000 volunteers have helped with Egypt’s aid effort since October 2023.
Every box of food, medical supply, and litre of fuel represents practical care reaching people living through a severe crisis.
